Student Veterans Honor Service and Sacrifice Through Wreaths Across America

Brookdale Community College Student VeteransBrookdale’s Student Veterans Association proudly participated in the Monmouth County Ceremony for Wreaths Across America at Veterans Memorial Park in Neptune, joining communities nationwide in honoring the men and women who have served our country.

Following the countywide ceremony, Brookdale student veterans continued their day of service at Cedarview Cemetery in Lincroft, where they placed wreaths at the gravesites of 11 Civil War–era veterans. The act served as a powerful reminder that remembrance extends across generations preserving history, honoring sacrifice, and ensuring that no veteran is forgotten.

Participation in Wreaths Across America reflects Brookdale’s deep commitment to supporting those who have served and creating meaningful opportunities for student veterans to connect, lead, and give back to the community.
