Brookdale Community College has been awarded a $100,000 grant from Delta Dental to support its Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology programs, further advancing the College’s commitment to workforce development in the healthcare sector.
Approved by the Foundation Board and awarded in January 2026, the single-year grant will help expand training opportunities for students preparing to enter high-demand dental careers. The funding will support program resources, hands-on learning experiences, and workforce readiness initiatives designed to meet the growing need for skilled dental professionals across New Jersey.
While Brookdale initially requested a multi-year award, the Foundation noted that adjustments were made across its grant portfolio to maximize impact statewide. The $100,000 investment reflects continued confidence in Brookdale’s programming and its role in strengthening the regional dental workforce.
Brookdale’s Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology programs provide students with practical, career-focused training that leads directly to employment opportunities in dental offices, clinics, and healthcare settings. The grant will help ensure students have access to up-to-date equipment, industry-relevant instruction, and pathways into sustainable careers.
This latest funding builds on Brookdale’s expanding efforts in healthcare education, including its broader commitment to addressing workforce shortages through innovative training programs and community partnerships.
With support from Delta Dental, Brookdale continues to create opportunities for students while helping meet critical healthcare needs across the region.
