Brookdale Community College has renewed its articulation agreement with LIM College, strengthening a long-standing partnership that creates seamless transfer opportunities for students pursuing careers in fashion and the business of fashion. The renewed agreement ensures that graduates of Brookdale’s A.S. Fashion Design and Merchandising program can continue their education at LIM College with clearly defined pathways, guaranteed admission for qualified students, and new scholarship opportunities.
Under the agreement, Brookdale students who complete their associate degree with a minimum 2.0 GPA will receive guaranteed admission into LIM’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in The Business of Fashion or the BBA in Fashion Merchandising. Students must apply during their final semester at Brookdale and enroll as full-time matriculated students at LIM.
The renewed partnership also includes up-to-date Transfer Guides outlining exactly how Brookdale coursework applies toward LIM degree requirements, ensuring that students receive maximum transfer credit and graduate on time. Both institutions will regularly review and update these guides to reflect curriculum changes.
In addition to streamlining transfer, LIM College will continue offering the LIM College/Brookdale Community College Transfer Scholarship. Brookdale graduates enrolling at LIM may receive a renewable annual scholarship starting at $750 for online students and $1,000 for on-campus students—alongside eligibility for merit-based awards for those studying on campus. To qualify, students must graduate from Brookdale with at least a 2.0 GPA and maintain full-time status and satisfactory academic progress at LIM.
