Applications Now Open for Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation has officially opened applications for its highly competitive College Scholarship Program, available now through the Common App. The deadline to apply is November 12, 2025.
- The program offers high-achieving high school seniors with financial need the opportunity to pursue their college goals with robust support. Selected Cooke Scholars will:
- Receive substantial scholarship funding toward college attendance costs, helping them graduate with minimal debt.
- Gain access to comprehensive advising to make the most of their college experience.
- Be eligible for additional opportunities, including internships, study abroad programs, and the Cooke Graduate Scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Senior Standing: Be completing four years of high school in the U.S., a U.S. territory, or on a U.S. military base, with plans to graduate in spring 2026.
- College Enrollment: Intend to enroll at an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2026.
- Academic Achievement: Hold a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.75 or higher.
- Test Scores: Submit scores from at least one standardized test (SAT, ACT, AP, or IB). There is no minimum score required.
- Financial Need: Demonstrate significant unmet financial need. Applicants’ annual family income must not exceed $95,000, with last year’s cohort of recipients reporting a median income of approximately $34,000. The Foundation conducts a full financial review of each applicant and their parents.
