A product of Old Bridge High School, Quezada embraced every aspect of the Jersey Blues experience, from competing on the national stage to growing as a leader in the classroom and across campus. Her time at Brookdale Community College provided lasting relationships, meaningful challenges, and opportunities that helped lay the foundation for her career and continued involvement in the sport she loves.

“I always look back fondly on my time at Brookdale Community College. So many of my experiences there have made a lasting impact on who I am today. Playing on the women’s soccer team connected me not only with talented athletes and teammates, but with lifelong friends. I was also incredibly fortunate to play under an outstanding coaching staff. Katie Amundson and Nil Onder held us to high standards, taught us discipline, resilience, and accountability, and led the team to compete at the national level. Flying to Illinois to compete in the national tournament was an unforgettable experience. Although we didn’t achieve the results we hoped for, I carry the lessons, grit, and sense of pride from that journey with me to this day. I am truly grateful to have been part of such a strong and supportive athletic program. Brianna Quezada with her soccer team at Brookdale Community College

Brookdale also provided me with academic opportunities. I had the chance to present my research, “Working Towards a Sustainable Future in the Business World,” at the Student Achievement Showcase and Honors Symposium. Through these experiences, I was connected with professors and peers who encouraged my academic and professional growth. I was also involved in campus life. I served as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and participated in different school activities, including winning Brookdale’s first scavenger hunt. Each experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me develop confidence, leadership skills, and the ability to speak up and challenge myself.

Today, I work full-time as an account coordinator at Optimum Media. I also began coaching soccer in 2022 and currently coach the 2015 and 2018 girls soccer teams at Old Bridge Soccer Club. My student-athlete experience at Brookdale played a huge role in preparing me for my career and my continued involvement in the sport I love. #18 signing off!”
