A day of inspiration, connection, and discovery awaits at Brookdale Community College’s upcoming Women’s Conference: Learn. Laugh. Lunch., set for Friday, April 24 from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Headlining the event is bestselling author and nationally syndicated columnist Amy Dickinson, known for her memoir The Mighty Queens of Freeville and her widely read advice column Ask Amy, which reaches more than 22 million readers nationwide. A familiar voice on Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, Dickinson brings her signature blend of humor, honesty, and insight to a conversation centered on resilience, family, and second chances.
Designed as a customizable experience, the conference encourages attendees to “follow their curiosity,” choosing from a wide range of engaging workshops throughout the day. Sessions will explore topics from Jersey Shore history and women in poetry to fashion design, media literacy, wellness, and personal growth. Participants can also enjoy hands-on experiences, including a live fashion illustration demonstration and interactive wellness practices. Schedule of Events
